Todd, Shauna, Cole, & Luke

You might recognize Shauna from Channel 2 News. This is her cute family of boys! Cole and Luke were so well mannered and polite and did a great job. Todd I'm glad you made it home in time and that you were able to stay awake after your long night of travel.

Thanks for trusting me on locations Shauna even though we did have to hike a little. I hope it was all worth it to you. I think they turned out great, you are beautiful.

One thing that makes it a little easier...

I received an email this morning from the mom of the little girl that received our son Payton's heart 4 years ago today. Being able to donate Payton's heart was and still is one thing that brings comfort and peace to Jeremy and I. Knowing that we were able to help another family not have to go through losing a child makes us happy, because it is sooooooo hard. I don't have too much to say today so I'm just sharing this.

Here is the email she wrote to us...

4 years ago today...
Wow. Its so bittersweet. I want you to know that Payton is our angel. I have never expressed to you how very thankful I am that you made the unselfish choice that you did. If it weren't for that very hard decision you made, I may not have my daughter, my reason for living. Baeley is doing so well and I know its because she has the heart of an angel inside of her.

Lochlan

Lochlan is the cutest little thing ever! Love the hair, the eyes, his older brothers, and especially his mom who is one of my close friends. Too bad he didn't want to just go to sleep and cooperate for me. Even though he didn't sleep or hold still very long, he did just long enough to get what we needed.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the cutest Halloween costumes ever that their mom made for them. All three of them pirates and I'd have to say the cutest pirates ever. (almost the cutest, my Beau is going to be a pirate too and I'm sure it'll be tough competition) But, for real Marianne you never cease to amaze me with your many talents.

Sawyer

Time flies when you're having fun! I'm sure you'll remember these eyes from Sawyer's 6 month pictures. We got a lot more smiles this time than last. Sawyer is one of my good friends little girl, and her only girl. It is so fun to dress these little girlies up especially if it involves pink!!! This was an easy shoot and I love the balloons that you brought for the pictures Shelby, good choice in colors! Hope you love them as much as I do.

Mason, Myles, & Maggie

These kids are always dressed so freakin' adorable, there mom's on the same page as me where it's more fun to dress our kids than it is ourselves. But, seriously love the clothes and look at these 3 aren't they just beautiful. They all have there own looks and I love each individual face, and this first shot is to die for...






The one here one the left I had to try out some funky processing on it, I kinda like it, what do you think? With her eyes and those lips, she's gorgeous!

Nie Nie Fundraiser shoot - McGiven's

Wow, I'm tired but I really need to get this session posted for the mom and the grandma who I know are both dying to see the finished pictures. These guys bid the most on the auction I did a little while back and everything they paid went straight towards the NIE NIE fund.

I'm so glad the drove up from Vegas for this because we got some gorgeous and fun shots. Twin 2 year old redhead with blue eyes, so stinkin' adorable. I hope that I have one of each of them on here for their individuals. It's really hard to tell them apart once I took the scratch off Easton (or it could've been Brady's) nose.

I tell you it wasn't easy getting both of these boys happy, looking, smiling, or doing much of anything at the same time. But we still nailed the session!! I love so many, I wanted to post more but I had to tell myself no more!!!

Carter 6 months old

It took a little bit for this little guy to warm up to me. But... once I yelled at him (don't worry it was a sweet and sarcastic yell) he laughed and thought it was super funny. So for the rest of the shoot I was yelling/talking to him in a deep voice. Whatever works! Carter is 6 months old and I love his baby soft skin, his eyes, and of course his little chubby body. I'm so glad his parents brought him in.

Richards

Close friends, "trying" to jump in sequence, annual daddy dog pile, random Jerry's burger bus, trying to figure out how to make shadows shorter, and a handsome 8 year old boy who is getting baptized in a couple of weeks.

Julie is one of my good friends who is the best at getting her kids and families pictures taken yearly and sometimes more often. (I'm sure you recognize the kids from previous shoots.) And she gets them printed and hung in no time at all. (I really need to follow her example and get the shots of my kids hung in my house that I took, oh, I think a few months ago. I'm horrible)

Anyway, fun shoot, great family, they're all going to be tall and athletic if they take after both their parents.

I'm so behind on posting so I'm going to try to cut back on the number of pix that I post. We'll see if I can have the self discipline.
